We are an organisation from Berlin and we have set ourselves to improve the lives of local refugees and give them back a little bit of independence – with bikes!
Public transport tickets are expensive and not every refugee can afford them. For refugees mobility in the city is essential though, which is why we collect bikes (fully functional ones and those that are not), bike parts, tools and locks.
Together with friends, friendly helpers, and refugees we fix bicycles that aren’t roadworthy yet.
You can find us in our workshop in the sharehouse „Refugio“ (Lenaustr. 3 12047 Berlin) on Monday and Wednesday from 4 to 8 pm.
Contact us for a bike at the bottom of the page and we will schedule an appointment.
We accept bike donations during opening hours.

We are students, who simply wanted to get involved and help where help is needed.
Our motivation behind that is much rather about creating a space for intercultural dialogue and integration though.
In the future, we plan to provide internships, apprenticeships or other employments for refugees. We are currently working on concepts for that.
We are always open to new ideas and we always welcome new participants!
